The United States today announced it will contribute US$155 million to the 欧美日韩国产福利在线观看 and Food Security Program (GAFSP) to improve the resilience and sustainability of agriculture and food systems in the face of ongoing crises. A new states this new contribution will 鈥渟upport projects that raise agricultural productivity, link farmers to markets, improve livelihoods, reduce vulnerability, and enhance resilience to shocks鈥 in the world鈥檚 poorest countries.

Since its inception in 2010, the US has contributed over US$668 million to GAFSP to support public and private sector projects across 50 low-income countries. As of April 2022, Mr. Nicholas Strychacz, Deputy Director of the Office of International Development Policy at the US Treasury Department, serves as Co-Chair of the GAFSP Steering Committee.
